Bread
Toothpicks
Black beans or capers
- 6 String Cheeses still in Wrapper
- Black Sharpie
- Using a black Sharpie, just add two dots for “eyes” and an oval for a “mouth” on the plastic packaging of a cheese stick. The ghost will look like it’s saying “Booo!”
- To ensure that your design sticks onto the packaging, wait a few minutes for the string cheese to come to room temperature.
- 6 String Cheeses still in Wrapper
- Cheesecloth
- Scotch Tape
- Black Sharpie
- Cut a few inches of cheesecloth.
- Ensure that enough cheesecloth is cut to wrap around a cheese stick at least two or three times. Wrap the cheesecloth around a piece of string cheese.

- 6 Almond Slices
- Unwrap a piece of string cheese. Cut in half.
- Dab a tiny amount of peanut butter, or any other sticky binding agent, on one end of the cheese stick.
- Place an almond slice on top of the binder to form a “fingernail.”
- If desired, enhance the life-like quality of this treat by slicing slits in the center of each cheese stick to imitate knuckle creases.
- 2 String Cheeses
- 6 Pretzel Sticks
- 6 Chives
- Unwrap a piece of string cheese. Cut into thirds.
- Snip the bottom of each piece into strings to resemble the frayed ends of a broom.
- Insert a pretzel stick at the top of each piece to resemble a broomstick.
- For a decorative touch, tie each “broom” with a piece of chive.
- 6 String Cheese
- 2-3 Slices of Bread
- 6 Toothpicks
- Peanut Butter
