Serve these creepy crawlers with a side of marinara sauce for dipping for a fun treat that tastes just like homemade pizza. But don’t leave these String Cheese Spiders unattended, or you might just find them crawling around your house.
Recipe type: Snacks
Cuisine: American
Serves: 6
  • 6 String Cheese
  • 2-3 Slices of Bread
  • 6 Toothpicks
  • Peanut Butter
  • 12 Capers or Black Beans
  1. Unwrap a piece of string cheese.
  2. Cut each end into fourths to resemble the 8 legs of a spider. Leave approximately a 1-inch area in the center for the bread to wrap around.
  3. Remove the crust from the bread.
  4. Cut 1-inch slices of soft bread.
  5. Wrap the bread slices around the bare center of each string cheese.
  6. Use a toothpick to bind the bread with the string cheese.
  7. Dab a tiny amount of peanut butter, or any other sticky binding agent, onto the area of the bread where you will place the “eyes.”
  8. Top the sticky binder with either a black bean or caper.
