Ingredients
  • 1 cup of almonds
  • Water (just enough to cover almonds in a bowl)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 dates
  • 4 cups of filtered water
  • Equipment Needed
  • Cheesecloth or nut milk bag
Instructions
  1. Put the almonds in small bowl and cover with cold water until just barely covered.
  2. Soak overnight for approximately 10-12 hours.
  3. Remove the water from the almonds.
  4. Place the almonds in a blender with the vanilla extract, dates, and water. Blend until completely uniform.
  5. Place the cheesecloth over a large bowl. Pour the milk into the cheesecloth and strain the milk into the bowl until all the pulp is removed.
  6. Discard the pulp and transfer the beverage to a jar or pitcher. Serve and enjoy.
