I was walking down the street coming home from the Farmer’s Market and I came upon 3 beautiful young ladies selling smoothies and cookies for $1.00 – $2.00 each.

These lovely ladies were not just selling delicious goods to make money and start off as mini-entrepreneurs. These 11 year-old girls were raising money for different animal shelters all over the Bay Area! The fabulous females started a 100% non-profit organization: JLO Donation Foundation.

What initially started out as having fun and making baked goods to sell on the streets turned into helping our furry friends and making the world a better place.

JLO stands for the 3 names of the girls and you should definitely check out their website! I’m so impressed how young adults are using technology to influence others and promote positivity. Having a website just adds to the business-savvy mind frame and helps with building a following for their cause. I’m also blown away by the fact that these innovative women are taking initiative to help a cause they believe in. They don’t keep any of their money from the bake sales. They give 100% to different animal shelters on their website such as:

Peewee’s pet adoption world and sanctuary inc
SPCA (society for the prevention of cruelety to animals)
Rocket dog rescue
Wonderdog rescue

I definitely want to give props to these caring individuals! Keep up the good eats and keep the drive going strong! Remember: anything is possible. If you believe in a cause, the options are endless on what you can do to help and make a difference. These girls are setting an incredible example of how determination and intelligence can make positive change.

Make sure to check out their next sale near you!

Do you have any delicious goods you can donate to an amazing cause?
