Fall and winter are my favorite time of year because I love everything PUMPKIN! I’ve been eating Trader Joe’s Nonfat Pumpkin Greek Yogurt as a snack. It’s packed with protein and sweetness to satisfy a perfect afternoon craving. I’ve been adding Pumpkin Butter to my toast. I’ve been roasting pumpkin and eating it with my meals. And I’ve been making Pumpkin Smoothies for breakfast! (You can spice this smoothie up by adding some brandy to it IF you’re enjoying it on the weekend 🙂 ). Welcome to my pumpkin-smoothie love house.
Recipe type: Smoothie, Drink Recipe, Breakfast
Cuisine: American
Serves: 1
  • ½ cup pumpkin puree
  • ½ cup nonfat Greek Yogurt
  • ½ tsp ground nutmeg
  • ½ tsp ground cinnamon
  • ½ tsp ground allspice
  • ½ tsp ginger powder
  • ½ Tbsp agave syrup

  1. Add all the ingredients to a pint glass. I use a hand-held blender to make clean-up quick & easy for my morning rush. Blend. Sprinkle extra nutmeg or cinnamon on top and enjoy! It’s rich and creamy and delicious. If you don’t have a hand-held blender, blend all ingredients in a blender and serve.
