Enjoying a drink, cocktail, or mocktail can be fun but loaded with sugar and unwanted calories. I reached out to fellow dietitians to share their healthy, no sugar-added specialty drinks. One of my favorite ways to make a refreshing spritzer is just adding fruit or herbs to a sparkling water. Check out these fun, fresh spritzers including a Blueberry Faux-jito.
- 1 cup sparkling water
- 6-8 blueberries
- 2 mint leaves
- Wash and slice the mint leaves. Using a mortar & pestle, crush the mint leaves and blueberries slightly. Add the mint and blueberries to the sparkling water. Chill for 15-30 minutes. Serve.
These are alcohol free (but you can always add some)
