Themed holidays are so much fun when you make it extra special by celebrating with a specific food or decoration. Generally, St. Patrick’s Day is Green, Green, Green. However, if you don’t have time to find the green, you can simply use a shamrock-shaped cookie cutter to make your regular food more festive. Here are 5 Shamrock-Shaped Recipes for St. Patrick’s Day.*
*Curious Chef provided me with the cookie cutter. Thanks for that!

Shamrock Pancakes
Start the day off right with a delicious pancake. Pair the pancake with a cup of fruit and a scrambled egg for a complete and well-balanced meal. Here is a classic Pancake recipe. Once you make the pancake, use the shamrock-shaped cookie cutter to make the shape.

Shamrock Sandwiches

Make any sandwich using sliced bread into a shamrock shape, such as a peanut butter & jelly, hummus & cucumber, turkey & cheddar, or ham & cheese.

Shamrock Avocado Toast

Here’s the green for your day. Enjoy your avocado toast packed with fiber, vitamin C and E, and folate. Watch the Video with Madison making Avocado Toast. Once you make the toast, use the cookie cutter to make the shamrock shape.

Shamrock Quesadilla

Quesadillas are easy to make. Watch the Video with Char & Izzy making Quesadillas on the stove top and in the microwave. Use the shamrock-shaped cookie cutter once it’s cooked. Top with salsa, avocado, cilantro, beans, or hot sauce.

Shamrock French Bread Pizza

Lilliana made this English muffin pizza. Use French bread to make it a little bigger for the cookie cutter to fit. Watch the Video with Lilliana making the Pizza to learn how it’s done.

Get creative with your food. Remember, you can eat the scraps, too, from the leftover cookie cutter ends. Those are delicious!
