Memorial Day weekend is here once again! I’m so excited about hanging out with family and friends at a fabulous barbecue fiesta. Finger foods can load up the calories quickly especially if they are fried or full of heavy sauces. Here are my 10 Favorite Finger Foods For A Memorial Day Fiesta fantastic for your waistline.

However, also remember portion control! A quick tip: fill up just one plate of your favorite finger foods so you know exactly how much you eat. Refrain from standing around the snack tables and just picking, picking, picking. One special plate will satisfy your belly, your taste buds, and your health.

Baked French Fries: French fries can be made with russet potatoes or sweet potatoes for extra antioxidants! Perfect for a nibble.
Kale Chips: Chock full of vitamin C, vitamin K, and vitamin A! These kale chips are fat free and fabulous for your skin.
Pita Chips: Make your own chips! Super easy a 5-year-old can make them!
Classic Crudité with Homemade Hummus
: Everyone LOVES a dip and dips are great ways to incorporate your veggies. Put out a plate of veggies and dip away at every party.
Shish_Kabobs_Soy Marinade
Shish Kabobs: Here’s my grandfather’s classic marinade for delectable shish kabobs. You can make the shish kabobs vegan or meat-friendly. I love using green peppers, red peppers, red onions, tofu or steak, and pineapple for a well-balanced meal on a stick!
Grilled Corn
: Substitute Greek yogurt for the butter or mayonnaise. Instead, spread on the yogurt, sprinkle parmesan cheese, chile, and lime for another finger food fiesta.

Grilled Pevre Fish Tacos
: Set up the tacos for people to make themselves. Simply lay out the grilled tortillas, grilled fish, salsa, cilantro, and lime wedges and you have an interactive finger food party.
Spinach, Red Pepper, and Cheese Frittata
: Make ahead and warm up the day of your event. Cut the frittata into 1-inch squares for a perfect protein and veggie-packed bite.
Oven-Baked “Fried” Chicken
: Make ahead this “fried” chicken. It’s baked so there’s no dripping oil stains. Pair the chicken with your favorite honey-mustard dip! I also have a recipe for homemade ranch dip using Greek yogurt instead to get more protein and less fat.
Mini Pizza Lunch FINAL
Mini Pizzas: I LOVE making pizza! These pizzas are made on an English muffin OR rye mini breads so you get the taste without the super-sized slice. Great for cheese-lovers portion control.

    There are so many of these finger foods that I was SURE I wouldn’t like, such as, Baked French Fries, Kale Chips, Fish Tacos and Spinach Frittata. But, I tried them and they have become my favorites. Thanks. Remember to try it, you’ll like it!
